I was recently able to create and receive a photobook by Saal Digital in exchange for this review. The product I received was the Professional Line Photobook.
I was very impressed with the following:
Creation of the book was pretty simple – the hardest part was deciding which photos to include and organizing them in a folder on my desktop.
The layout is customizable but you can also create one using a design program and upload your own.
I just used a full page layout, mostly vertical so one per page and 2 per spread, except for one where I took a horizontal image and laid it out on 2 pages. I did this because I wanted to see how the image would translate, as I’ve used a different company to do the same and was disappointed with the result. Saal did not, however, disappoint me with this task and the horizontal image turned out beautifully.
Here are some images to show you what the book looks like. I chose a white leather cover (very good quality) and matte paper that is very thick and amazing quality. Another thing that impressed me was the quick turnaround. This book got to me 2 days after I placed the order, which is incredible in my opinion. I know some albums (wedding albums, especially) take WEEKS to turn around which can be frustrating.
I would highly recommend using Saal Digital’s printing services!
